History lesson.
Today is Cinco de Mayo here in Mexico. All my friends in the USA and on Facebook are giving greetings, and plan on celebrating Cinco de Mayo in the USA, Mexican style. Here in this part of Mexico, it is not a big deal, and not even considered a holiday. Cinco de Mayo is actually a bigger deal in the USA, than here in Quintana Roo and other parts of Mexico.
I read this article this morning and I thought I would share with my readers. In reading this article I realized that maybe Cinco de Mayo should be celebrated in the USA, because of the significence the Batte of Puebla had in shaping USA history.
