Mahahual A Paradise Not Recyclable

It is rainy and windy today, nothing much going on. I was sitting here thinking of something to write about. I am kind of looking forward to my trip to Merida next week, and I am still in awe of this blog now being featured on . I can’t really think of anything to write about today. (Anybody got any ideas or suggestions or topics you want to read about, let me know, I am always looking for topics). So I went to my archives to see what I wrote about last June of 2014.
I came across this article and video that I wrote about last June. Since I have a lot of new readers since then, I thought i would reblog this video about Mahahual, and all the trash from all around the world that washes up on our beaches. This video is a must watch if you are interested in either visiting or living in Mahahual, it will help you understand our plight here.
This is not our trash, or cruise ship trash. It is trash in the ocean that currents bring here from all over the world. So after you watch this video, share it with as many people as possible, we need to start thinking about saving our oceans and seas from all the trash that is being dumped into them.

Costa Maya Mahahual

Great video about the plight of Mahahual, and all the trash that washes up on the beaches here from all over the world.
This video has a lot of insight into this problem.

    Hey Stuart,
Congratulations on your new partnership with the Yucatan Times.

You asked for ideas on topics and I have a couple for you. I visited the Malecon on my cruise this past February and like many others, my girlfriend and I fell in love with the area. We plan to return next May.

I am interested in hotels that are on or near the malecon, especially with some local knowledge of how nice it really is. All the hotels look great on a website so the local knowledge would be nice. I think you’ve written about this before but I couldn’t find it.

The other topic is places to eat in Mahahaul.

Thanks for all the info, I love the blog and read it everytime you have a new post.
