Costa Maya Life Blog goes over the 200,000 reader mark.

Mexican Caribbean. Mahahual.

Mexican Caribbean. Mahahual.

This morning, September, 6, 2016, a couple of minutes ago, this blog went over 200,000 readers for the three years it has been in existence.   The majority of those readers are from the last two years, 2015 and 2016.  The blog this year, should go over 100,000 readers alone.

So I want to thank all you readers for making this possible.  I never in my wildest dreams did I think the ramblings on of a country boy from South Carolina writing about Mahahual and Costa Maya would attract such a large audience online.  Another thing that surprises me is how many different people from so many different countries read this blog.

I also want to thank my sponsors who help make this blog possible.  I also want to thank the people of Mahahual and Costa Maya for providing me with something great to write about.  It does not hurt having a paradise like the Mexican Caribbean to write about, it makes it easier, and provides a lot of material.

What I find ironic is, according to the last census down here, there are only 1,080 residents of Mahahual, and over 200,000 people have read about life here on this blog.

So again, thanks for reading,

Stewart Rogers USA-South Carolina

Congratulations Stewart, well done! In honor of your accomplishment, I am going to crack open a bottle of Patron, cut up a few limes, dust off the sea salt and have a few shots with some cold Dos Equix. Thanks for the excuse to drink, much appreciated!

  2. There are a lot of readers because the content on here not only serves EX-PATS, or future EX-PATS. It serves those wanting to go there and have a good time.
