Something You Don’t See Every Day in Mahahual

Flat, calm seas here today in Mahahual.

Flat, calm seas here today in Mahahual.

Today is Monday, September 12, 2016, and not only is the village of Mahahual dead today, but also the sea is too.  Very rarely do you see a day here  where there is no wind, no breeze or anything like today.  It rained in the morning, and then everything got real calm.

I went into town for lunch, and there was hardly a soul in town.  I took these photos on the malecon of the Caribbean, because I can’t remember when I saw the seas here this calm.

There is no breeze, and it is hot and humid here now.  No Trade winds,  or anything, bugs every where. My least  favorite month of the year here in Mahahual, September.
