Pediarita Invented in Mahahual

We have a new invented drink here in Mahahual now, it is called the Pediarita.  It is made like a margarita with tequila, but as a mixer Pedialyte is used.  One of the expats that lives here loves his tequila, but is worried about getting dehydrated, so he mixes his tequila with Pedialyte.

Pedialyte is a drink formulation that restores mineral loss after vomiting and diarrhea. … Pedialyte ingredients:Water, Dextrose. Less than 2% of the Following: Citric Acid, Natural & Artificial Flavor, Potassium Citrate, Salt, Sodium Citrate, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium, Zinc Gluconate, and Yellow 6.

Adults can use Pedialyte too
Pedialyte can help prevent mild to moderate dehydration caused by the following:

  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting

The makings of a Pediarita, Pedialyte and tequila. This is how the an old expat here rolls.
