I missed this one if it was published prior to today but I am glad Stewart republished the article and somewhat saddened. Happy Stewart published it as it is true, our media is truly full of crap. Saddened as I saw what happened to Islamorada, Florida Keys as the popularity of the area went crazy in the 90s and early 2000. Islamorada went from no shoes, no shirt, no problem and $.50 beers to South Beach prices and attitudes. Conch Horns abounded and following the sound of a Conch Horn normally led you to a BBQ with beer or impromptu party. I would hate to see the ruination of Mahahual and the southern Quintana Roo south of Tulum falling victim to the same fate.
