I just got back from trying out the new breakfast menu at Pizza Papi.  I have to admit is was very good, and probably the best french toast I have ever had.  I have been meaning to try breakfast there, but just got around to it today.

Pizza Papi now serves breakfast from 6:45am to 1:45pm each day, except on Wednesdays, when they are closed.  They have  full breakfast menu, and it is catching on with a lot of the locals and expats here.  They have a wide range of menu items, as well as coffees and espressos, juices, smoothies, and soft drinks.

They use fresh breads and fresh fruit daily, as well as other fresh ingredients.  They also have wifi, and the bar is open if you need a Bloody Mary, or a Mimosa with your breakfast. There is kind of European feel to the breakfast at Pizza Papi.

They have omelettes, french toast, pancakes, eggs your way, and many other breakfast items at Pizza Papi. They also have some European style breakfast sandwiches, like Caprese, on the menu.  Here is a photo of the menu I took this morning.

Today I tried the french toast, and it was to die for, probably the best french toast I have ever had.  It was made out of some fresh-baked bread, I have never had with french toast before.

I also had a bacon and cheese omelette, but I had to bring most of that home, because the portions were so big, and I filled up on french toast.

So if you are in Mahahual or plan on coming through, stop by and check the new breakfast menu and hours at Pizza Papi.  If you are some of those who live in Rio Indio and Placer, and farther south, next time you come into town for the day, plan on breakfast at Pizza Papi.
